Remarks: Buoyancy problems are very common with this angelfish. Collectors generally use a needle to release gas from the swim bladder as they bring this fish from deep water to the shallow. It is a highly specialized skill that is often not done properly and cause decompression problems. If you see an individual unable to swim upright, try to avoid. But if a healthy individual is obtained they readily eat in captivity. Feed nori often to help them build up their fat reserve. Perfectly reef-safe.
