Remarks: An interesting hawkfish that is known to perch on sea fans or similar corals as they camouflage to wait for prey to swim by. Can be aggressive to other smaller basslets, psudochromis, its own kind and timid tank mates. Will eat small ornamental shrimps and desired crustaceans. Known to jump.
