Remarks: Found in seaward reefs. Feed on mollusks, crustaceans, various worms, and echinoderms. Solitary and territorial species. Monogamous and oviparous, form distinct pairing during breeding. Do not bother corals but will decimate populations of small shrimps, snails and crabs. Australian variant, while more colorful, almost always comes in at least 5" where smaller Indonesian specimen can be easily obtained.
