Depth: surge zone to 30m (98ft)
Diet: Carnivore
Remarks: This fish is not easy to keep. They lose body weight very fast if not feeding. In addition, many usually arrive in poor shape due to stressful handling in the collection and transport channels. The key is to acquire a healthy individual, and allow time to settle without harassment from other aggressive tankmates. Once it starts to eat prepared foods, feed often to build up their fat reserve. Having a decent sized tank with lots of live rock and a refugium also help to supply natural food to the fish.
