Social Media & Content Creator

We’re looking for a creative, personable person to take ownership of our social media and help grow our community.

The Role

• Run our social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and reefing forums
• Create engaging short-form video and social content
• Be comfortable and confident on camera
• Develop content ideas and spot trends with viral potential
• Engage with our community
• Track content performance and help improve what we do

Must Have

• Genuine interest in the reef aquarium hobby
• Comfortable and well-spoken on camera
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Creative and reliable
• Experience with CapCut or similar video editing tools
• Experience with image editing tools such as Photoshop, Canva, or similar
• A strong understanding of social norms and good judgment when creating content

Nice to Have

• Own reef tank & active in the hobby
• Transportation to our Staten Island location
• Good eye for viral content
• Comfortable with spreadsheets
• Previous social media or content creation experience

Compensation: Fair, competitive pay based on experience.

Work arrangement: Hybrid or remote
